EFL show their spineless selves in relation to Blackpool v Orient on Saturday

I suspect they fear that the Blackpool fans will be sympathetic to the Orient plight and vice versa.

Exactly! And what a terribly sad tale that perfectly sums up how the Football League have learned absolutely sweet FA in 20 years that they have deemed it all too unsightly that the possibility of seeing Fans United in their frustration at appalling owners who are destroying their beloved clubs for their own personal benefit.

Does anyone know why League 1 finished last week and the Championship and League 2 this?

Pretty sure the same thing happened last year.

Standard Sky of course. They should change the no televised 3pm rule for the final day of the season.

Indeed. They love the way they have their dedicated "last day drama" jumping from game to game to see it all unfold, and are gradually dripping this idea down the divisions.

If memory serves me correctly... I always thought league 1 and 2 finished on the Sat (same time) The championship on the Sunday and the Prem the weekend after.

FA Cup Final is same weekend as playoff finals this year.

Not enough days to play 3 playoff finals and FA Cup final.

Finished a week early so that playoff final can be a week earlier.
