Strange. I looked at National Rail Enquiries and there are 5 trains per hour timetabled between Brighton and Falmer from 5pm to 7pm tonight which is an enhanced service.

Only going off this. Maybe the services are short carriage or it’s referring to afterwards

Yeah. Can only guess this means they are all likely to be formed of 3 or 4 carriages. Edit: Other possibility is the usual timetable has been changed, and 5 trains per hour during those times is now the norm every day.
