Looks like our new Seagull and Pigeon removal system has arrived.

Apologies if already posted. Could not find it.

Cheshire Cat

Is that going to be the half time entertainment?

Are they going to do a Benfica I wonder? They have an Eagle called Viktoria that flies round the pitch and lands in the centre circle of the Estadio de Luz before every game. Perhaps we could train a seagull?

Went to an aussie rules game in perth about 4 years ago West Coast Eagles v North Melbourne Kangaroos they had a eagle fly around the stadium it was pretty impressive! Then i realised it was an eagle and i'd rather watch a seagull pick an abandoned bag of cold chips on a wet wednesday night.

They could have held the annual birdman competition on the Amex roof instead.

Harris Hawk

Awesome Bird, I had one sat on my head last Thursday, we had to get rentokil in at work due to Seagulls on the roof and they bought a Harris Hawk, I have never seen anything like it, the Gulls went nuts!! and from what was about 40 to 50 gulls on the roof, within about 3 minutes of the hawk flying about, there must have been well in excess of 500 gulls.

They send out distress calls and the others come to try and protect the young and eggs etc, the girl who had the Hawk was telling us it can apply about 85lbs of pressure per half square inch with it's talons, and when it swoops down and takes a Rabbit it ofton "pops" its brain out of the skull!! she told me this just before it went on my head for others at work to take pictures, was i scared?........YES!!!! :)

The Hawk was happy to sit and pose while others took pictures, but it was slipping on my hair and it was trying to stabalise it's self and in doing so it was gripping with his talons, they are like high powered needles but fair play I could tell it did not want to hurt me.

Incredible experience though.

Just a note, we did not go with the Hawking programme as the cost is way to high, she did only bring it along to show the potential as to what effect it has.

Needs must pal....

Nobody with Palarse scum connections are allowed in the AMEX - They all have to be 100% Brighton - they even say it at the presentation... I don't know anyone who isn't 100% Albion in their heart of hearts that has a season ticket though, so it's OK...

I didn't expect to see Colin back at The Albion, tbh. What's the betting that come the day of the opening game he takes to the skies; flies in a straight line up to the 1901 seats & attacks a random JCL who's greedily scoffing a punnet of prawns?

Still, at least that'll be the pre-match entertainment sorted innit.
