Cov has it spot on. The UAF are trying to twist the aims and objectives of the EDL, who are trying hard to push away from the BNP. The BNP have made the EDL a proscribed organisation (I know, funny in it's own way...)

The UAF have been responsible for much of the violence at the protests, the Muslims are not happy with their intervention - they don't like not being able to control the situation. The Muslims are clever - they take their protests to the limit of the law and no further, knowing that the EDL will be unable to resist the temptation to fight back. When the UAF get involved, the Muslims cannot control their "youth" who then lose sight of the objective.

The media will continue to demonise the EDL, the State will love it all, and hate-peddlars like Choudhary will continue to laugh up their sleeve at it all.

Think Combat 18. This was a well known honey trap. You just set up an organisation. Give it the large one. This will atrract some hot heads and then you use them. In the case of combat 18 to disrupt the BNP and to gather intelligents on loyalist groups connections with the far right.

The state probably have been infiltrating firms for a long time with their links to organised crime. All they have to do is set up an organisation like the EDL and use it for there own ends.

I will do. But where in 'the state' do these projects initiate from? Who has these ideas? when the old bill are cracking heads in welling, who has put them all up to it. thats my question.

Mi5 carry out operations such as this. Even in the 70's left wing groups were infiltrated.

The EDL is a Proscribed organisation to BNP members. Trawl any nationalist forums or bloggs and the majority have no time for the EDL.
