My mate worked at Parcel Force and I was pretty sickened to hear how many of the workers there acted. It certainly made me very weary of mailing things.

Another problem is that many temps are taken on over xmas because of the demand and some of them will be much less reliable/honest than the normal staff.

You'll have to excuse my bias, one of the xmas presents I bought has been sent back to the sender cos of my :censored: useless local depot. And I'm still waiting on another couple to be delivered!

Im afaid Eastlondon seagull that in any job you get one or two thiefs wether its stealing the pens in a office to putting 20p in the coffee jar and taking £1 out it happens.I am a postie and get pissed off with the kind of crap i hear about us?What evidence have you got that someone stole youre things ?I deliver loads of open cards the machine chews them up,people forget to seal them etc but of course a postie thought ill have a tenner out of this.Get really fed up with all the bollocks about us,i tell you what i will give you a letter in Brighton and i want it delivered in Scotland tommorow for 20 odd pence,go and f***ing do it then tell me we are shit.
As you say, I've no evidence whatsoever unfortunately. Trouble is when a £10 note is posted into the postbox at one end, but an open, empty card arrives at the other, it's hard to point the finger anywhere but at the postal service. Or when parcels (with gifts inside) are posted, never to appear again. Maybe I'm just very unlucky.
