We have 2 tickets for this on Sunday March 3rd but probably can’t go following my missus breaking her arm and having it put in a cast. Doesn’t need an operation, luckily, but we are having to cancel a few things at the moment.

Please let me know if interested - they are circle row A, cost £56 each including the fees.

Was that with the old tape/drum machine? For some reason I always remembered that was at the Top Rank.
No. Full band by then. I loved the drum machine era. I envy you seeing them then. But they did become majestic, after, though

Now, who supported? Was it the Comsat Angels? Or did they support U2? Ten Pole Tudor? Love the Comsat Angels. Reunion gig. Emotional:

It reminds me of a mad day I had a few years ago. I had a dental appointment in London on a Saturday morning which I drove to. Then I had arranged to meet some relatives in Birmingham to go to see a match (Sunderland I think) before heading over to Coventry to catch the second half of a Wasps v Exeter game. The reason for going up was because there was an Echo and the Bunnymen concert at the Ricoh (as was) after the game but only after the Buzzcocks had played as support. Then I jumped in the car and drove back to Hove. I slept well that night!

Blimey, they've recovered an audience well.

10ish years ago it was Concorde 2 and a further 10 before that it was The Old Market in Hove (which was very, very loud).

Anyone see the Centre concert in September ‘84? I was a teen on a touch of waccy baccy maybe, but recall the sound being incredibly trippy, as if Will was using a quad system or something? Good times.
