Don't do it....I've had paypal payments b4....only to have the payment withdrawn 2 weeks later.

They said it was a stolen card etc.

Send him an e-mail and tell him that you regularly do business in Lagos and will be visiting next week, offer to bring the item with you and suggest that you meet up and conduct business for cash and face to face...then see how quickly he goes cold on you.

Alarm bells should have been ringing as soon as you saw the address in Nigeria. As if the badly written fake story hadn't already triggered suspicion.

Small consumer electronic items like PSP's are the most scammed items on eBay.

Avoid this guy like the plague and also report him to eBay. You can forward the message you've had from him to fraud@ebay.co.uk

Thanks guys for all the advice. I've told him that I don't ship outside of the UK, and as suggested by bluejuice I'll forward his email on to ebay
