so someones posted an auction for a Big Chill ticket collection only ticket in Brighton, starting at 40 quid, buy it now price at £50

So I've bid 50 quid and it says I've won it, make the phone call and get told "oh - you've bought it? I've already sold it though (elsewhere)"

Now to me that deserves BAD feedback (which is what I'm gonna do). Though apparantly if I do that I might get bad feedback myself which renders the system useless

Anyway, do you think that deserves bad feed back or let her off as she probably got more elsewhere as its a damn good price

you say it's pointless leaving bad feedback as you'll just get it back. when ebay has gone wrong for me (rarely, thankfully) it's irritable but just one of those things. c'est la vie. fruitless thinking otherwise.

If you get negative feedback from her, you can contact ebay to complain, I think.
Given that you've done nothing wrong, she's the one who'll be getting the rap.

You can complain, but they won't remove it: "...we can't remove comments because you believe they are untrue, undeserved or left in retaliation..."

You could also post her phone number onto forums so she has to go through the hassle of changing her phone number.

THREAD HIJACK ALERT

Good afternoon. To save me from the dangers of ebay which I have learned about today (postal strikes, bad feedback etc) I have decided to post some unwanted items in the NSC classifieds section. Feel free to make me an offer for my shoes. Thanks for your time, and sorry for interrupting your thread. xx

eBay is shite in that respect. If you are not happy and leave negative feedback, you get the same back which affects your % rating !!. Bloody stupid.

SOME posters will be asking something else that's been worn soon.

Yes, I do have a dispicably (sp?) dirty mind, but it's all mine!!!!

I am about to post a new bikini and some UNWORN underwear. I think I'm selling to the wrong audience though.

I've used the "wait until 90 days are nearly up" routine and it seems to work fine - fits into the revenge being best served cold category and you can really let rip without any comeback as long as they dont bid on and win something you are selling later on - then they get a chance to bad mouth you back:lolol:

Very few sellers give a toss about a buyer's feedback. If somebody has ripped you off make sure you let other people know.

Add them to your 'Blocked Bidder/Buyer List' then they won't have the chance to win anything you are selling! :yahoo:
