Worthing
Whether you were topless or bottomless, I still think you would be chilly - even with a heater

No this is indoors...... it’s positively balmy and just like Naples. Meaning you’ll get robbed.

We're universally and uniquely pathetic in this country when it comes to this, so well played for seeking. If the temp dips below 25 degrees or a cloud appears, everyone runs inside or complains 'it's a bit chilly, let's go inside'. You really couldn't make it up. Compared to other european countries (who have DISCOVERED coats, jumpers, hats and scarves and consequently enjoy winter festivities, inc.drinks and food outside in sub zero temperatures, all the time) the UK* is full of total weather wooses. It's like fish and seafood, for an island race, it's amazing how few people will eat anything other than cod. And even then...

*Tyne & Wear excluded

What sort of moron eats dinner with jacket and hat on.

Wow show some class.

Anyone know of anywhere in Lewes with this setup?

Not Lewes but The Rainbow, formerly Counting House, in Old Town Eastbourne has just spent a fortune renovating the pub and garden which includes outside heated booths. Looks great, not been in there yet but heard some good things about it.

Why are you so bothered about what other people prefer or eat? Live you own life.

Beak Brewery are restarting the excellent guest pop up food at their taproom( on the Cliffs industrial estate) with a marquee and heater.
Also had a small one of these outside the back of The Blacksmiths Arms so you'd be best to book. But it has the best pub food in Lewes with its Jamaican kitchen

Looks like Easy Tiger have covered their garden and stuck some heaters in. Decent Indian food and excellent Craft beer there

The wife and I went to a nice pub in Worthing (to remain nameless) on Wednesday evening with a view to having a meal (which we did) but nearly everybody else seated in the pub didn't order any food. When I queried with the lady taking our order if we needed to be eating a 'substantial meal' we were told that technically Yes, but as long as we were having table service they didn't mind people just coming in for a drink if a family group or in your isolated bubble.

We did have a lovely meal but during the 3 hours in there at least 20 tables ordered no food whatsover. Seems to be that as long as you are seated and having table service some pubs will let this 'substantial meal' thing slide.
