It's because the movement of the Moon and Earth determine the dates rather than it being on the same calendar date. Can someone explain how it seems known that Jesus was born on 25th December but the date of his death varies every year?
Unlike Christmas Day on December 25th, Easter's a multi-day festival tied to the days of the week.
Good Friday changes according to Passover as the Jewish calendar is tied to solar and lunar cycles.
Any dates from March 22nd to April 25th are possible. It's a 'moveable feast'.
