Easter eggs and hot cross buns

Easter eggs seem to be the only thing in this world that the price of seems to have gone down over the years ?

Hot cross buns seem to be readily available in supermarkets all year round.
This annoys me somewhat.

But hard to deny that a toasted hot cross bun, with too much butter, is one of the better seasonal treats.

Have just spent the evening working hard like a good boy only to reward myself with some of Waitrose finest toffee and date hot crossed buns and a cup of tea. Champion.
