Lets face it, he is playing in Calderon's position. He isn't going to get many games and therefore why have a player unhappy at not playing many games, on a fairly good wage for this division, just sitting around.

Gus is right in trying to get him off the wage bill, which is best for both the player and club. We're not holding him back as we don't want a fee for him, Whingy just needs to find himself a club.

I hear that Charlton have cooled their interest. In any case, I understand he wants to go closer to his Brum roots.

I think every defender has given away a silly penalty in their career, plus it was debatable.

I think the way Poyet wants to play the game, Whings huge lack of pace does him no favours.
