Still in Brighton
Going today to Centre Court...

3 Brits involved , Norrie, Boulter and Emma R...

Think this will be my last year as tourney being downgraded from a 500 to 250 and seventy snots a ticket a bit steep ( tho worth it for todays lineup )
V jammy with that line up, I was hoping one of those on court 1 but this year the lineups on the other courts definitely more "lesser knows". I'm still happy going today as one of my favourite lefties is playing.

Centre Court yesterday (Monday). A bit disappointed with the line-up but still a really good day out.

main draw starts tommorrow, anybody gonna head down? watch the lovely ladies in the tournis last year as an all womens event till it becomes both men and womens
Kind of. Same as previous years, I've secured a temporary job for the duration of the tournament, mopping down the changing rooms. £50 a day, cash.

(Yes, it probably should be a lot more, but that's all I could afford to pay).

3 British women in the QFs, the first time that has happened since 1978. Boulter was good but Raducanu was excellent in beating Pegula, the world number 5. Didn't see anything of Harriet Dart but she must have played well to beat Kenin.
I still maintain ER is some player but alas too brittle currently physically to back up big wins. Maybe one day

Absolutely. She was really good yesterday, looked knackered today. It's no surprise as she has not played much, but she seems to have got her mojo back a bit at least. Maybe a good run at Wimbledon is coming as they don't play on consecutive days if the weather is decent.

I watched the Boulter and Raducanu games on telly. Very poor. Looked like practice games and not a lot of effort or fight put in. A lot of watching shots, not much chasing them down. Yes, it was breezy, but come on, foolish people have paid to watch this!

ER will probably get centre court billing I'd have thought, so weather shouldn't be much of a factor.

Did Wimbledon Qualifyers for the first time ever today - great day and value at £15. Choice between Gasquet or Goffin first (although both lost!) and could easily get a seat despite leaving to grab food/drink. 18 courts in all, very relaxed, some great young talent in the 70-200 rankings and decent amount of things to do.
Would highly recommend to those that genuinely like tennis but don’t get main draw - £15 v £250 for ladies semi finals!!
