Kind of on-topic - I did a guided Tour of the Clifton & Montpelier area the other week (really good) and the guide was going on about ‘Plumpton Butter’.

Apparently it was much sought after and George IV always demanded it.

Anyone had ‘Plumpton Butter’? As part of a East Sussex cream tea maybe?

'Plumpton butter' sounds like euphemism that would be used by the teenagers at the agricultural college
