I can't believe now 30 years after we never got a 30000 in the top flight
Agreed. Equally unlikely crowd stats elsewhere though too during those years... e.g. Man Utd getting some 30-35,000 league gates in a 58,000 capacity Old Trafford...Arsenal averaging 24,000 and Everton 20,000... all hard to imagine now.

With Cardiff being midweek and barnsley hardly crowd pullers I'd like to see, if it looks likequite a few empties, special offers for families during the school hols or even for foreign language students.

The kids can get hooked as new supporters and those foreign students can head back home and spread the word!

The last 30,000+ crowd was April 1979

It would be AMAZING to break that barrier again

I can't see that happening. Martin Perry said on the excellent Albion Roar that while the capacity will be 30,750, there won't be 30,750 seats. It's possible, but it does mean hardly any 'no-shows'.

However, upon ultimate completion - one record I reckon is in our sights...

I believe that we can soon beat our season's average record of 25,264, set in 1977/78.
