I was going to start a thread saying that (after today and only 4 games each in total) the top 10 and bottom 10 now could fill those places come the end of the season...

My prediction is that there will be at least three teams who end up with fewer points than us and get relegated. Very difficult to say who at the moment but there are plenty of candidates. Oh, go on then.....

Cardiff - They're Cardiff. They'll probably sack Colin and get someone really shit like Pardew in

Huddersfield - Crap Klopp found out. Squad looks really lightweight

Newcastle - Poor old Rafa can't keep working miracles with **** all. He walks they're screwed, they may be anyway

Other possibles:

West Ham - Should have stuck with Moyes but as usual, ideas above their station. Toxic club and spending £100m+ can't change that. Fat Sam flying in on bungee with pint of wine may save them again though

Team Smug - Wishful thinking but they're really not very good

Fulham - Don't have a defence

Crystal Palace - Rotten to the core, festering bile infused atmosphere at home with fans turning on each other, Old Angry Roy picking a fight with a mascot, worst striker in the division.......nah, somehow they'll still stay up, but may go bust anyway with their top 4 wage bill

Burnley - He's got a disc beard... A DISC BEARD! They can't score goals and (see Huddersfield) may well have been found out

Long way to go of course & we have a transfer window in January, but my prediction for the bottom 3 sides are:

Cardiff
Huddersfield
Newcastle
So long as it includes that team squatting in a publicly funded stadium (cough......no names.....but Funded-by-Porn'R'Us) I don.t mind - or care - who goes down.

As long as it's not us (FWIW I don't think it'll be us, but it might not be as comfortable as some would like to think!)

Cardiff - everybody sees them as the obvious favourites for the drop and although they have some fight in them thats about all they have
Huddersfield - they did good last season with a couple of shock results but they just dont look like they have improved and dont look like they have that shock in them anymore
Newcastle - very good at grinding out results last season but they have not improved the squad with a owner that just does not care any more and a manager who looks like he is trying to get pushed before he eventually has to jump
West Ham - as an outside bet as they just cant seem to gel into a full package , lots of individual talent but its a team sport and I can see them in the dog fight all season

so any 3 of that 4 for me , Albion to be just outside the overall dog fight for most the season :albion2:

Surprised a couple aren’t even considering Southampton, who were absolute dog shit all last season, have a dour manager and have sold Tadic, their most creative midfielder.

Cardiff
Hudds
Southampton

Newcastle won't go down. People simply choosing them because they are in the bottom 3. Shelvey has been missing the last few games and they have had the hardest start then anyone else.

Newcastle have a better squad than us. Shelvey, Ritchie, lascelles and probably Kenedy would walk into our team.

I think we have the 3rd worst squad in the league but hughton will do his magic again...

Cardiff
Hudds
Last one is tough. Maybe West Ham if they don't sack the manager early

We really need to start winning a few games again soon. Theres been some plusses and some pretty good performances this season. But not quite enough progression despite a bit spent. Early days.

I'm with Mellotron on Southampton. I'll also offer Cardiff and West Ham.

My thought exactly, the current bottom five will be in the mire IMO, and we won't be far away.

Burnley should be safe, but their Euro holiday has cost them already and they have a very small squad.

The only surprise thus fas has been Watford, but that won't last.

As long as it's not us I don't really care !

Somewhat arrogant to start a thread like this in my view, wait till January at the earliest

I haven't yet convinced myself that Brighton have enough quality to avoid being dragged into the mire, especially if we're unlucky with injuries and suspensions.

Very early days and you can guarantee that at least one "surprise" club will be struggling by Christmas. And to most people who follow the Premier league, Brighton are still a club that would shock nobody if they went down.

I've got my eye on Burnley because I have a feeling they have flattered to deceive for a while.

Newcastle have a better squad than us. Shelvey, Ritchie, lascelles and probably Kenedy would walk into our team.

Newcastle without Shelvey are like Palace without Zaha.

The bottom three will depend on the number of injuries any lower team has, or suspensions. If Murray gets a long term injury, we will be sucked in too.
