My hair was cut into a nice bob in the early 90's! Inspired by the magnificent mane of Clint Boon!

Joe Bloggs jeans and global hyper colour T-shirt’s for the ravers!

Chevignon, C-17, Fiorucci (maybe), Ciao, Diesel for the slightly smarter lot

Add Classic Nouveau T shirts ,Radio tops ,Chipie and Network jeans. C17 jeans were the dogs.

Rockabilly friends 1990s before Dingwalls in Camden, always a cool fashion.
So much stolen from the style from turn ups, short shaved sides, check shirts, shoes, and boots, tattoos became more fashionable, because Tarquin wanted to look cool and hard like us, they went to far with the beards though....

Right then......curtain hairstyles were definitely IN in the early 90s for late teens / 20 year olds

Joe Bloggs jeans, Naf Naf sweatshirts and coats, long-sleeved t-shirts, bucket hats. Champion sweatshirts and T-shirts were popular and bizarrely, DM's and bomber jackets made their way back 'in' in the early 90s with some of the youth!

I dressed like a raver in the early 90s, because.......shock horror....... I was raving!! But when I wanted to be smarter Paul Smith, CP Company gear was worn.

Definitely NONE of the casual stuff from the earlier photos was worn by the 'youth' in the main, wrong era.

P.S. Branded long-sleeved T-shirts of a particular band were VERY popular early 90s

E.g. James, The Farm, Happy Mondays, Charlatans, et al

If memory serves me well the Fiorucci store used to be where the Tourist Office is now.

Early 90s I have memories of baggy Joe Bloggs, a purple hoodie and skateboarding tee-shirts (Stussy springs to mind). Defintely Stussy and Joe Bloggs or combats for dance clubs.

I had c17 jeans and a Chevignon top for the footy though. Talk about hedging your bets

Certainly as the decade went on the football look took over with our lot a bit more - the jeans got tighter and the trainers whiter.

For me it was NafNaf, eclipse and spliffs tshirts. But I was a skater so baggy jeans all the way, Susst was my brand of choice with a chain wallet.

There was a fair bit of crossover IIRC. Everyone was dropping pills and you'd see club fashion on the terraces and skater fashion at raves and gigs.

I was a student, so it was all about the u2 and simple minds ‘look’...with a Garfield T-shirt on Sunday’s! I am immensely proud to have never worn a shell suit though. Half the British population seemed highly flammable circa 1990.

Were you not “Man at C&A”? Thursday late night shopping, open until 9pm? Shop the look, then down to the 2nd hand places in Church Street!

For me - jeans, t-shirt, jumper. Just like today. And in the 80s. And in all the years in-between.

Shorts were a bit shorter than now though.
