I've always thought it was an FA Cup game, but I've just looked it up and now realised that I have been living a lie all these years...

I was going to say the 3-3 draw with Bournemouth at the Goldstone in Jan '94.

We were knocked out of the cup earlier in the season by 'muff (away), which may have caused the confusion, but I wasn't there.

We did beat Bournemouth in the 3rd round in 1988

Good result as they were a division higher back then

That's the same season as Brentford (away) Nelson goal

And Arsenal (home) Nelson goal

My first Albion game at all was March '89, so a bit before my time

Garry Nelson scored in that game too though (as did Kevin Bremner)
