The Championship, the PL, etc, whatever title they hold are nonetheless LEAGUES. Therefore, as long as we keep the plural form - 'Up the football leagues we go' - it will be fine.

We shall not
We shall not be moved
We shall not
We shall not be moved
Just like a team
That's going to win the FOOTBALL LEAGUE!
We shall not be moved!!
Since when, seeing as it has been sung all over the country, including by teams like Bristol and alike and even by our fans in the past so why is it now considered a northern chant only?
As discussed on another thread, it's a horrible HORRIBLE northern monkeys song, sung by the likes of Burnley and Port Vale.
Don't ruin it now.

Auld Lang Syne...........I would love it if we could steal a song I heard in Germany where they sing about being Champions . If we were to translate it it would be
(To the tune of auld Lang syne)
When you ask me who'll be champions
Then I will say to you
It can only be the Sussex boys
Who play in white and blue
Imagine having our own song and not stealing a northern one .
Wasn't it "Knees up Brighton town" when we sang it in the 80's, with a line about sawing your legs off in it?

I remember watching a TV documentary, years ago, about Millwall's hooligan firm. They were planning a trip "up north".
To Bristol City.
