Appealing for some info.

I have just bought an e bike.

The charger is very short.

All sources seem to say not to charge indoors.

So can I use an extension cord?

All sources again seem to say no.

But stuck as to how I charge the thing as I have no outside power source.

Anyone have similar issues?

I should add, the battery is not detachable.

I bought one of these two years ago.

Also has a non detachable battery and I've charged it at least a couple of hundred times in my front room.
It takes a couple of hours and I'm always in the house/room when it's charging.
I suppose it could catch fire but then I'll just chuck it straight out the patio doors into the garden.

Not sure how safe it would be to charge outdoors - the chances of water getting in and causing trouble would be quite high I think, they're not like cars with specially designed sockets for outdoor charging, it's just a small rubber flap.

That’s reassuring, thanks 👍
