Or Marshall?
Is Marshall really worth more than £2.75m our current record transfer ?
BTW I am not comparing him to CMS just trying to work out the value of him
Or Marshall?
Wow, please don't tell me you get points for that amazing piece of fortune telling. He (amongst others) called Zamora early
on but otherwise I have no idea.....
Coincidentally.......
bennettsField: Club transfer record is going to be broken in the next few days. We are "going for it" #bhafc
Has this guy ever been correct?

If we cannot compete with Fulham over Dunk's wages, we do not stand a chance of meeting what this guy would want. Even if we did, the rest of the squad would all want a pay rise as well!
A season long loan is a possibility if we only pay a percentage of course.
Estimated to be on at least £20k per week at Palace. I agree we surely are not paying this sort of figure at the moment are we?
No, I very much doubt it and certainly hope not. CoG is supposedly on 15k a week, but I would question that as well. But if you sign anyone from anywhere for 8m, they are not going to accept a wage in our range.
Both CoG and Colunga are rumoured to be on that sort of money. If we were to go for someone like Gayle (seems very unlikely) we would need to offload Cog & Colunga asap to free up budget.
I think yet again that if we break the record it will be for someone not on any of our radars.

Except at the times he is very wrong.Consistently.
Won't happen, Hull are back in for him now that Andre Gray is off to Burnley. Norwich also interested.
I believe we are after Marshall and will do it with the Dunk money.
And prepare for a backlash from those already here - I am guessing, but hope, that CoG and Colunga are at the top end of our wage structure. The rumour is Dunk is on 6k a week, Fulham have offered 20k and we cannot compete with that. It would blow our wage structure out of the window, which is something I very much doubt that TB would do.
Hold up ... are we honestly saying we believe that our current wage structure includes:
COG - £15k a week
Colunga - £15k a week
Dunk - £6k a week.
No way, that would be ludicrous. And, rather than lose Dunk to a club offering to triple his wages, why would we not look to dump COG and Colunga, then triple Dunks wages ourselves. Result would be:
COG - £nil
Colunga - £nil
Dunk - £18k a week.
Nope, sorry but I can see that those wages can possibly be correct, and if they are this club is in a f&*king mess! If that's true, then no wonder Dunk is a bit pished off with us.
He has no intention of moving away from the South.
Turned down Bristol for that reason.
I'd suggest he'd go as far as Norwich, and they really need a striker.
