From the Argus re Rana dismissal

Rana gone in somewhat controversial circumstances. The ball from Plunkett appeared to hit Rana on the arm and there was barely a half-hearted appeal from bowler or from those behind the stumps. Umpire Harris (again) thought Rana had walked but he was just sitting on the splice after tugging his shirt sleeve. Eventually, 'Pasty' half-heartedly raised his finger, Rana left in a huff and was last seen hurling a prime piece of Pakistan willow in the direction of the dressing-room floor
