Thanks. Your link is for the 11th Jan.

Try this:
http://www.soccerassociation.com/0/1314/B20140101.htm

They've called it 2014 01 10, it comes up as 10 Jan 14 on the search.

The point is still valid though - we were on the up when Barnes left, we fell away after he left. When you look at that season and 2 points from 15 in games 36-40 it's a miracle we made it in - Oscar Garcia deserves massive credit. We then destroyed Leicester away, Ulloa got a brace and the rest is history.

To get back on topic, is Dunk playing tonight?

Bra posted that he saw someone that looked ''very like'' Dunk...i'm sure he was genuine in his post...but judging by that tweet he was mistaken

It doesn't. We finished higher without him than we were with him.

Yes he does.

He's on the bench.

Yep - bench. Team unchanged.

Greer is club captain. Hunemeier wouldn't have signed for circa £2m to sit on the bench.

I just don't see any other outcome other than Dunk being sold. It's just a matter of time.

I can't argue that, technically, when Barnes left we were 7th and we finished 6th but that was due in part to the Lingard loan - we never replaced Barnes and it affected us throughout the 2014/15 season. I'm gonna leave this now.

Of far more significance is the fact 34-year old Gordon Greer is about to start his 4th match in 12 days (6th in 21 days if you include the Gillingham and Seville friendlies). Either Hughton is insane or Dunk IS off.

Dunk is off.

If it was 'tactical reasons' for him being dropped, he'd be playing tonight. Huddersfield's strikers are mobile, and Greer isn't, and as you say, 4 games in 11 days for a 34 year old?

You don't bench a £5m player for 'tactical reasons'. He's our best defender.
