We all have 'senior' moments. Some occur when we are not 'senior' as well.

My best of the year occurred yesterday when I went to the counter at my Post Office over the road.

I asked the assistant 'Do you sell stamps ?'

Has to rank pretty high in the dumb questions stakes.

Can anyone do better with one of their own gaffs ?

I did have one a few years back. I remember it was intensely embarrassing at the time, but fortunately I'm SO senior I've forgotten it.

I have worn glasses since I was five years old and I turned thirty-eight a few weeks ago. More times than I care to admit, I'll ask my other half if she knows where my glasses are and they are almost always on my face.

Heck knows what I'm going to be like when I hit my sixties.

‘Have we BLOWN it?!’ Was my most recent stupid question.

In a bar in Dieppe I asked "ou est le porte" trying to find my way back to the ferry. They pointed me to the door while laughing.

They move from your nose to your head - when you're looking at small print you move them up on to your head and then cant find them 😃

Met by sister’s fella’s parents for the first time at my sister's house in Southampton. Absolutely delightful Irish couple. Strong Irish accents but have lived in London for about 40 years which I knew very well.

First question I ask though, did you have a good flight over?

I have absolutely no idea why. Still not lived it down 10 years on.

Gary Linekers was asking Glenn Murray before the cup semi final "so what's the big difference between this Brighton team and the one that got to the semis in 2019?"
