Having to spend time in King's Lynn at present.Apart from a few streets and a square that remain of the Old Town which is lovely (but currently taken over with the fairground and it's scum) the place is one dive, populated by some very, very, very odd people.

Anyone want to share with the group?

The area around it is beautiful and I loved my office there but you have to try hard to beat Harlow out of the title. Its just sooooooooooooooooo functional and seventies.

You have my sympathy Nibbs. Went there for an afternoon once: & the term 'Inbred' was made for the inhabitants of this dump. Frightening.

10 pages of people complaining about crap Sussex outposts, Haywards Heath, Crawley etc followed by people defending them.

I've lived in some fairly pony places. Godalming was lame. Rugby was also cack. I've also had the misfortune to live in many ski resorts in the summer, which means the genaral population is about 30 and the supermarket opens for an hour a week :(
