Oh, at night I go out and update my schedule of how well the local lampposts are working.

A very imprtant task if l may say so, alighting the NWSS coach returning from the Amex last night, l had great trouble staggering home in he dark, with many lamposts in the village now working.

No the Cock Inn has always and continues to be the Cock Inn AFAIK. The Stewards Enquiry was further up the road towards Uckfield just before the Isfield turn off. It's now a ghastly private house.

Can't help the OP about a Saturday but yesterday I got the 29 from Crowborough and it had 5 passengers until we got to Lewes where a few more got on and then it got rammed full of students starting at Falmer, then at various points through Moulscombe.
