The main thing I object to is the use of the Sussex title I would much prefer someone who actually lives in and a hives some success for the people of Sussex to hold the title which should also be not hereditary

Are you advocating that all hereditary titles are do e away with? I don't think the Prince of Wales lives in Newport.

I kind of got and respected their initial decision to break away from the ‘firm’ to take more control of their lives and decisions in another country. Thought we would see them move forward with a fresh new start. However since then rather than step out of the public scrutiny they seem to have monetised a series of ‘tell all’ tabloid gossip style reveals about their time in the royal family.

If anything that fuels the very narrative they were trying to change around them.

Personally I don't care what they do, it literally has no bearing on my life whatsoever. Why do people feel the need to hold such firm opinions about them? It's not like they're in positions of power.

It was a STUPID comment no reason to be beware and I’d make the same remark if a man had made it…just to be clear.

What man has been labelled a gold digger?

I have criticised the Royal Family, in particular Andrew and Princess Michael of Kent. Now she is rightly called Princess Pushy.

Not defending her at all, but that too could be construed as sexist; would a male Royal ever be nicknamed Prince Pushy?

So being female and a woman of colour (no doubt the wrong term for somebody) means she is entitled to be immune from criticism according to some?

As mentioned before, this is not a GB News or Daily Mail story, it is a marketing press release from someone earning damn fine money for promoting them self. Seemingly two faced enough to use the platform her marriage status has given her to spend most of her timing slagging off the institution that she chose to marry into, whilst receiving millions of dollars for her insight.

Dump the lot of them, bloody freeloaders. The only ones worth their salt are Wills and Kate ,just exactly how many palaces houses and mansions does one family need for pete`s sake .

I think Andrew has been called similar, even before his other dalliances came to light.

I think one reason would be that there are a lot of people out there who care about and favour the monarchy, and I don’t think that the Sussexes are doing the monarchy many favours in that regard. It’s a shame that they don’t just get on with their own lives without all this kiss and tell crap.

Rubbish, if she wasn’t married to Harry nobody would have any interest in her at all, at least on this side of the pond. It’s the way she has used the position she has married into that pisses me off. Is that difficult to understand?

How has she used the position she's married into then? Or more accurately, how has she behaved any differently from anyone else marrying into privilege? I'm assuming she's been taking advantage of her new found fame to get a leg up from her previous position as semi household name but mediocre actress, but who wouldn't?

I mean, look at the wife of the other prince. How many wives put up with their husbands having an affair with their own best friend, just so that he can indulge in a spot of pegging? I wonder why she hasn't thrown out the billionaire and future king of England, Prince William, for behaving like that?

Nope, mark me down as couldn't give a shiny shite about what Megan Markle does too.

It still doesn't ultimately bother me that that's how they're making a living. They need to earn some money somehow now, given they've broken free of the entitlement-duty bind. I do wonder how many expect that they should be making a living, which would absolve them of the criticisms from the many-headed hydra.

I do, however, think there shouldn't be such a thing as a royal family, and that they're chasing too much of a living. That said, neither of these views are that popular.

They seem so desperate to control the (press) narrative about them.

I have every sympathy. Harry hated walking behind his mother’s coffin when he was only 12. He blamed the press for her death, and was terrified of facing the public. That’s why Prince Philip offered to walk with him.

The press also found out he was in Afghanistan, which put his whole unit at risk.

When he married the press wouldn’t leave them alone, and he decided he didn’t want to risk his wife being put in danger. Even when she had a miscarriage, a photographer jumped out from behind shrubbery to photograph her coming out of the medical centre.

Life in a goldfish bowl. Yes, I don’t blame him for wanting to control the press narrative.

Sorry, I agree with a lot of what you say but when it comes to royalty you're a complete sycophant. Prince Andrew probably put his penis in a child. He used mummy's £12m to make it go away. When the cost of the civil list rose by £15m the following year, you were very quick to make excuses and reassure everyone there was nothing to see here. Well there was.

We should be cutting off the heads of the whole lot of them. They're a stain on democracy and our quite unpleasant class system will never go away all the while they are at the top of the tree, with the Queen vetting every single law on the statute book to ensure it doesn't apply to her and her family, with Charles only paying tax if he wants to, and with Andrew shagging minors.

Time for a much slimmed down royal family, with even less significance. But I’m fine with a titular head of state with no real power, partly as I’d loath to see an all powerful President from the Labour or Tory parties. Ireland managed it with the amazing Mary McAleese, we know it just wouldn’t happen here, it would be an extended ego trip for an arrogant politician.

Regarding Harry and Megan, they’re pocketing multiple millions per annum from US media organisations, far more than just earning a living. Built solely on his royal past. Spotify etc would have zero interest in a couple’s boring musings without that. Very American, purely a grab money exercise, based on air ….. very Kardashian, very Paris Hilton.
