Dublin: any do's and don'ts?

It means that Wexford were beating Dublin 21-15, but in case you wanted to know the goals to point ratio, that's there for you. :)

That would at least explain why the old fella next to us kept screaming "COME ON, WEXFORD!!!!", much to the ire of his wife. :lolol:

As for the scoring, think I'll stick with our simple 'one goal = one score' system.

Govt. owned museums are all entirely free if you're trying to reduce the wallet destruction - there's two history museums, a rake of art museums and the "Dead Zoo" which is basically a museum of a Victorian natural history museum - its been barely changed.

Hotels are actually pretty reasonable price wise now, cheap compared to the continent and generally very very high quality; car hire and fuel are cheaper than the UK generally. Food and particularly booze are PAINFUL.

Stay away from Temple Bar at night unless you particularly want to feel like you're drinking in Cardiff. During the day its interesting though.

Not much use for right now cause its a summer season, but if you could convince the wife you can easily relive the 1980s at a league football game - poorly or entirely unsegregated grounds, terracing, fifteen quid entry fees, proper pubs in grounds, etc, etc. Frutos even got to see some classic hooliganism and a pitch invasion last time...

Off to Dublin for a couple of days with the good lady, have any of NSC's finest been there before?

Glasgow Rangers shirt doesn't sit too well over there, however I did see one brave soul once parading down O'Connell Street wearing one without any problems.
