After a visit to the gents what is your preferred method of drying your hands after washing.

Do you (a) Go for the traditonal pull down towel, or
(b) Go for the elctric hand dryer, or
(c) Use paper disposables.

I 'm a traditional towel man myself.

There is no point in washing your hands in a public toilet if you hand is then going to come into contact with the door handle on the way out, a swabbing of which would show up traces of numerous different faecal matter and piss. Do it the Cheeky Monkey OCD way and always grab some loo paper with which to open the exit door handle, either that or wait for someone else to go out and follow close behind.

I do that CM but I also carry around a bottle of baby milton wash, it's for the kids when we eat when we're out and about usually but I use it after visiting public loos as well.

Sensible toileting you two! We use that gel at work. The other option is to grab the door handle at it's most obscure point (i.e. where few people would grab it).

Provided the towel is fresh, i believe they are usually more hygienic than air dryers as no-one ever changes the filters on those and they just blow germs and crap on your hands.

So pull down towel for me.

I think that might look a bit suss in a bog, hanging around until someone else finishes and then tailgating them out of the door.???

The hand drier is usually the only option, despite being the second most annoying invention known to man. You wave your hands around under it for several seconds, only for nothing to happen. Just as you're about to give up, it comes on, so you move your hands back underneath the heat blast and try to dry them. Only for it to stop, microseconds later, until you've moved your hands back to a position several inches away from the actual heat. Bastard things.

The most annoying invention, incidentally, is those taps they have in public toilets, where you're supposed to press the button down to turn them on. Except that as soon as you stop pressing down to actually wet your hands, the water flow stops.

FFS!
