Appears the media have hung drawn and quartered these two people whose lives will never be the same. Who they are, what they do, where they live, ages, occupations etc etc. Everything short of bank details - almost enough to clone their identities. Who the hell would want to be them though?

Looks like the media are doing the right thing in ensuring equally full coverage of their release.

So no-one knows who did it, or exactly what it was they did. But they've got to be fairly clever to stop when those people were arrested.

If it happens again at a different airport, then we can assume it's someone with a grudge (for whatever political/personal reason) against planes. If it happens again at Gatwick, then it's that particular airport they either dislike or know the area well.

Wonder if they were set up by whoever did do it? In the meantime who ever did do it has well and truly scarpered.

it was quite clear they were not responsible as soon as we saw their photos.

:lolol:

Bit like when the Cubans arrested those British plane-spotters and charged them with being spies.

Sussex Police couldn't nick the right person if they walked into Hove Police Station with a 'I'm GUILTY' sticker on their forehead. Hopefully this couple will sue the balls off of Sussex Police and all the papers that named them
Didn't even own a drone and was at work during the incident. His boss rang the police but they never rang back :)

Did anyone see the front of the Mail this morning ? Pray they have good solicitors and absolutely cash in.

Sussex Police have denied that they have no credible leads.

Following the arrest and subsequent release without charges of a couple from Crawley, a spokesperson for the force said their inquiries are now focused on 67 million suspects.

Absolutely scandalous from the police and the media. No one should EVER be named when arrested until charged. I hope they get some good compensation which, in this instance, will be totally deserved.
