I always see...

A sprighlty Nancy Dell'Olio lookalike on a bike. Come rain or shine she is there peddling away always in a skirt wearing sunglasses, no helmet.

I always give her a hoot and a wave and she always responds with a wave.

This morning the relationship moved up a peg, I flashed (my lights at her) and she gave me the usual wave but also stuck her leg out in a waving fasion..

What i need to know is ,

1) Who is this gem of a lady that cheers me up each morning? anyone know?

2) If I put the hazards on wave and flash will she be compelled into competing on the waving front and do something that may see her going under a travis perkins lorry? If so I will have to refrain from upping the ante....:albion2:

Thats all.

I would counsel against flashing at her as this tends to send out the wrong message in my experience.

Thats true, she always looks dashing, even last Friday when it was hammering it down with rain.

I have jsut remembered that mad old fella who used to stand on the A24 roundabout...now he didn't go to work..he just used to dress up in weird clothes and dance to himself if i remember correctly, that was going back about 10 years though...

Burlington Bertie was always smartly dressed and he never worked. Could it be Burlington Berties Daughter?

Monty street wrote about her in the Herald last week I think...sadly the recycling was collected this morning and I don't have it anymore - I'll look it up on the wbe site - assuming its the same lady...

The other problem is, does she have a nice arse? The nature of my bearings means I never see this view. Anyone see this view? I can tell you alot about the front on view if you are interested.

I,m not absolutely certain, but I think "Berlington bertie" used to be a dustman.......pretty sure he used to drink in the Coach & Horses (amongst other places).
The lady concerned by the way, does indeed cheer up a dull day...!

You could be right there. I think he passed away many years ago, and I think someone on here knew him, or was related, can't remember who though.

And, as for cheering up a dull day, he used to on occasion, and on occasion he just called you a Fucker as you walked past.

Indeed he did. In the earlier days in the ,60's he just used to say "move along...move along", but as senility took hold in his later years his language did get so much more direct...:lol::lol:
