At the expense of the Albion? No. But I have been to a few Wednsday night games this season.

Nope.

Lewes mean nothing to me really. In fact, I'm getting quite bored of hearing about them on here. I'd like both of the Sussex teams to be promoted obviously, but am indifferent to which should go up as champions.

If you are swayed to the Dripping Pan ahead of going to watch the Albion at Withdean then you were never really a true fan in my opinion. How can you say you are a committed supporter if you are attracted by cheap beer and a terrace over watching the team you previously claimed to support?

I've been to the Dripping Pan a couple times this season, once was when Albion were away at Torquay.

Would be good next season to have 3 sussex clubs in the BSP

Not this season, But went a couple of times a few seasons ago with a Lewes fan when Brighton were away.

Found it really boring as i had little interest in who won or lost, and won't go back.

Lewes are about to hit their limit in terms of being able to progess any further up the leagues, as the conference is as far as their ground will ever take them, (and they had to spend loads to get it to that standard) - a shame that yet another Sussex club is being prevented from reaching it's full potential due to poor facilities.

and what did you think??

Its quite nice, I spose, in the same way that going to any random football match tends to be quite enjoyable, beer on the terrace is nice and I can walk to and from the ground. If I can afford it its a nice way to spend an evening. It isn't the same standard as the Albion or close to it, and nothing beats watching your own team.

In my opinion this "Lewes/Borough are better value than the Albion" thing is a complete and utter myth. Yes its half the price, but the standard is poor, and the atmosphere still very much feels non-league. It reminds me of the Welsh Premier League, which I used to pay 3 quid to watch.

thats not true as the club will have to further improve the ground to BSP standards
