I'll be there with bells on!

I'm with Brixtaan though - they'll never fit us all into that tiny room!

Not with your stout frame.

He's got a point in that the other two beers are damn good but not a patch on Harveys!!!

Beer is like footballers and the managers down to personal preference.

How many on here would sign McCammon but MM rates him highly.

I would have thought it unlikely with Leeds the next day - can anyone confirm?

TGC its on Thursday. Leeds game is on Saturday.

Can anyone official 'like' from SoL confirm that non-members can turn up. We will 'pay on the day' as the saying goes.

Cheers

Yes, you can join on the night. But be warned: it's going to be pretty crowded and we're trying to do something about seating arrangements. But be prepared to stand. (True fans would surely prefer that anyway.)

I'll post a separate message later on confirming everything but, as of now, MM is definitely coming.

I’m sure NSC users will understand that Michel Kuipers' injury means Mark McGhee’s top priority right now is to sign a goalkeeper for Saturday.

The meeting is still there in his diary of course, but things are changing quickly and it's very hard to call.

We shall still be holding the meeting as scheduled, but please be prepared for the strong possibility that MM himself may not after all be able to attend.

Hi GT,
just to clarify, does this post really mean that you have had word from the club that MM is 'very unlikely/not gonna make it on thursday' or will they give you an update during Thursday to confirm, and you will post here ?
As Brixtaan points out, we play for a team on thursday nights, and were clearly willing to feign injury/illness should the man himself be confirmed....but if not, then advance notice would be appreciated..

Clearly i understand that confirming his absence could knock about £50 worth of sub fees from SoL and the very worthy praise/kudos that goes with it....Sorry..

fingers crossed eh,

R

Wednesday morning update

With urgent efforts to sign a goalkeeper continuing up to the wire, Bob Booker has been in touch with Paul Whelch about the meeting. He says that while both he and Mark McGhee were very keen to come along, it now looks probable that they willl be needed elsewhere on Thursday evening.

Apologies in advance if that's the case, but please note that the meeting will definitely go ahead. Meanwhile, we are trying to arrange for another club representative to be our guest.

I'll put up further posts as appropriate.
