Quite happy with the ban in London.

The older tube seats used to work like nappies. Absord the liquid so you could sit on one quite unaware that a man of the road had relieved himself on one.

Unfortunately the liquid would work itself back up on a longer tube journey. Again the passenger would be unaware in the summer because of the general heat and sweat ... until leaving the tube station.

Just to be clear I have never had to ask to go home upon entering my workplace because the backside of my trousers were drenched in old man piss.

Well possibly just the once.

I thought drinking was a social thing?
Unless a person is dependant i suppose, but you got to be in a pretty bad way to wanting to resort to a sneaky drink on a bus FFS.

Eating and drinking should be banned on all buses, the underground, and commuter trains. It would make for a much nicer environment; it would make the bus/train smell better; and less litter.

Both are banned on the New York subway and it makes the subway a much more pleasant travelling environment.

You've never commuted from waking at 5.45 to getting home at 7.45 have you?
