oooh, Richard E Grant as the Doctor. I can see it now. That would be f***ing excellent.

He appeared as the voice of the doctor in the webcast story 'scream of the shalka' which was made for the 40th anniversariy of doctor who. They were going to do more story's due to how popular it was but then the new tv series was planned, so the webcasts were scrapped as the bbc thought kids would get confused if there were 2 doctors.

I really can't see the bbc axeing it anytime soon, its doing really well in the ratings. Constantley making the top 10 weekly shows (which 9 are always filled with the 5 coronation street episodes and the 4 eastenders.) Also the follow on audiance played a big factor in Joseph beating Grease in the ratings aswell.
I know the books are selling well, and would gather the toys are also.

Also theres more classic series dvd sales aswell, so they have upped the releases per year.

Think its the sun just writeing aload of old rubbish again, bit like Ageman had been sacked but she's already confirmed shes filming series 4 soon

The Master is the Doctor's arch enemy and after the reappearance of the Cybermen and Daleks we fans were just waiting for when the Master was going to make an appearance.

John Simm as the Master...good choice!

I reckon they should bring back either the Ice Warriors or The Sea Devils next!

I think they should bring back the Kandyman, scary monsters made from giant Bassets Liquorice Allsorts. Maybe that's why I don't like them very much, I'm scared the sweets might attack me!
