Well he did a very good job on it
And the edit was mostly very good, getting rid of quite a lot of escaping only to be captured again, and then repeat. Overall more coherent than the original, and a clever edit at the end for modern fans with the faces.

Watched it today and saw the best continuity error ever ! About 29 minutes in a British army officer is firing his Webley revolver...and suddenly there is a cut and he's using a Luger !
