Can anybody suggest a site that I can use to download some classical music. I was told Limewire but the songs I want keep coming up with stupid Miley Cyrus Videos. I would rather it be free but if I have to pay so be it so long as I can get the music. Any help would be great cheers.

Don't know any free ones but eMusic.com is pretty good. A wide choice of stuff there, it's not too expensive and you get 25 free downloads to start yourself off.

Thanks for that but still cant find the album or track I want. As I said I dont mind if I have to pay for it. Its for a music quiz and my sons go on here so I cannot put the artist or track I am looking for.

PM me and I'll see if I can help - I have a large collection of classical myself, I might even have the piece you're looking for.

iTunes has got loads of classical songs and they're often at a really good price. My mate managed to get a ridiculous amout for £4.99.. but then you've got the hassle of downloading and installing iTunes...

I changed my selection because I couldnt find the album I wanted. All went well and it recorded onto a CD using Nero which works well in the pc or laptop but not in a cd player, what have I done wrong.

some audio systems don't play re-recordable discs, could that be the problem?

Spotify has a fair amount of classical music and you can listen to it on your computer for free and if then if you decide you want a copy it's just a click away to make a purchase

Have tried it with Nero, Windows media Player and latest Real Player all with the same answer could it be the CDs? Do you have tohave special CDs to record audio onto as opposed to Data? Have contacted Nero Tech support and waiting for them to come back to me.

Nero tech support have come back to me and said basically provided the CD plays on the PC or Laptop there is nothing wrong with the burning of the CD and that the problem is a compatability issue between the CD and the appliance. They suggest getting another make of CD or lowering the burning speed. Buying other CDs is obviously not a problem but how can I slowdown the recording speed or do I buy CDs witha slower recording speed. Sorry to be a pain but any help will assist me as I amnot very knowledgeable on these things, if you hadnt noticed:laugh::thumbsup:

When you buy recordable Cd's, don't they say on them what speed they record at? 12x 24x etc

As someone else has said, not all steros play CD-R or CD-RW, you would need to check the manual for the player you have. I usually have issues trying to play on my portable players, but a decent stero or your dvd player should work

Are you using CD-R or CD-RW? I think CD-R has more chance of working in a stereo?
