He's a total :tosser:. He'll never give a successful Seagull's side credit for defeating his woeful Wanderers.

As poor as they were, you cannot ignore the fact that they should have been 2-0 up, given Chung Yong Lee missed an absolute sitter from 8 yards out and stuck it over the bar shortly before they scored.

Also vaguely remember another free header they had (and missed),as well as the goal.

Yea this. They had a couple of chances to go 2 up but lady luck (or poor striking) was on our side.

Good value for the goal and in control so funny. Bless.

He said they were good value for their goal?!?!?? Jeeez I think that's a new low for Doogle! They'd barely been near our goal & scored from a set piece - I think also a deflected header as it goes from one of the man mountain robots.

Also even funnier was that we absolutely DESTROYED them for the first 10 mins - and he thinks they were good value for the goal?!!!!

Perhaps he should try something different than all players having to be at least six foot and find some skilful ball players.

Might be too late as I think it might be the chairman's office Monday morning!

Where did they go wrong with Spearing, then. He looked about 4ft 6ins.

Goals change games - had the Lee fella scored they prob wouldn't have got the second. They shouldn't have been 2-0 up though, you could say we deserved a goal first 10 mins. We dominates them as usual today!

Not quite sure what you're getting at. Yes, we deserved a goal for the first 15 minutes, but we didn't get one.

Fact is, Bolton had the best chance in that period, and missed it. They SHOULD have scored it.

Amazing what people actually see.......they had missed a sitter when the ball fell to lee and he somehow missed the target from 8 yards....2 mins later, wheater had a free header from a corner 5 yards out and magically fluffed it....then 2 mins later they scored......

" they had barely been near our goal". Yeah, right o mate....

He's fighting for his job, can't blame the bloke for embellishing the truth a bit .....he won't get another job as good as Bolton.

Definitely needs to give his hair a wash though.

Davies also missed a sitter in the second half.

Kinda feel sorry for him, abused by Palace and now at a club clearly in terminal decline

Yes, how I saw it. They are a big side and we were always going to be in trouble on set plays, especially when neither Greer or Dunk attacked the ball, which caused the goal and created panic on other occasions. IMO - Did they deserve anything? No - Were they unlucky? No - Did they cause us difficulties? Yes.

Felt they were better than Sheff Wed and Birmingham.

I sometimes wonder if people actually bother to watch the game. Bolton could have gone in at half time 2-1 or even 3-1 up. We had good possession and did look dangerous but they did create some chances. Overall though we did deserve the win but to suggest Bolton were dreadful is just daft. And nice to see a sponsor who bothered to watch the game as I had to agree with their choice of Bruno for MOM

Alright sarcy bollocks I forgot the chance the little bloke missed. Set pieces was the main threat. But they weren't value for their goal whatsoever as we were dominant.
