Loft was shit the day McGhee signed him at a reserve match at Worthing. And, yeah, I was there. He failed to impress that day. He's failed to impress ever since. He's never been anything other than shit. He has no place in any kind of forward-thinking Albion setup. We shouldn't even be discussing him.

I honestly can't believe people are slating him after his performance today. He was one of our better players and should never have been taken off. I hope he starts on Monday.

Doug loft is a conference player. Sorry.

will place money on the fact that if he don't get a new contract here, which he should, he will not end up in the conference at least a league 2 team will snap him up

Dagenham's manager said that he will sign Doug in the summer if he's available.

I'm not sure many bookies will be offering odds on that.

Some League Two club will probably sign him though, you're right there.

thought he turned very nicely on the ball today and showed good feet!

Although his shooting in the warm up was much to be desired! he peppered the argus and disabled stand with his left foot rifles! haha

Doug Loft is ten times the player Fraser will ever be. I really couldn't understand why Fraser was on the left of the diamond and Loft on the right today but Loft adapted well and actually influenced the game. Fraser (as usual) ran around not really having any impact or getting close to tackling anyone and as much as I appreciate his hard work I think it's an absolute a sham that he is anywhere near our first team.

Never really rated Loft before but he was quality today. Stupid decision to bring him off, changed the game.

I thought Loft gave one of his best performances for us yesterday. When he got on the ball he used it well. He looked sharp and far more confident than before, I thought it was evident in his play that he had enjoyed a run of games in a first team. It was a shame he was subbed so early in the second half but he was taken off to allow us to play 3 up front. El-Abd was brought on to sit in front of the defence to give some protection while playing 3 strikers.

Lively, always wanted to get on the ball, linked up well with Davies and, most importantly, got himself into the box.

Absolutely LUDICROUS substitution.
