To be fair It was clearly a pen

Was it though. I think first viewing in real-time it looks like Caulker gets the ball. After a replay it looks like he didn't but i don't see how it was clearly a penalty

Agree it's a joke, he shouldn't be given any preliminary hearing or clarification oppotunity bollocks. It's a charge, pure and simple, based on what he has already been filmed saying.

And to think this is a man who doesn't speak to the written press at all after league games. If he did, with some proper questions, he'd be in the dock every week.

I think some of his more unpleasant charcteristics are seriously tarnishing his legacy, which should be only about an incredible trophy haul.

The whole united don't get pens against them at old Trafford is mainly because most teams go to old Trafford and defend so dont get many opportunities to get penalties. Same reason city have had about 10 penalties this season, they spend a lot of time in opponents box so are bound to be fouled more

Pre-2004, indeed. Ruel Fox's penalty for Norwich in 1993 was the last one they had given against them at home until Steed Malbranque's for Fulham in the FA Cup quarter-final in 2004 (a game I was at, oddly). 11 years.

I guess it goes to show that since then it has become a nonsense to suggest no-one ever gets a pen at OT, when in fact refs are more likely to not award pens to Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal & Liverpool when they are at home. Of course, it could just be that refs do their best, they are rarely, if ever, swayed by the ground, the managers, or the fans.

yet Fergie can berate lines-man, referees, make comments after the game and the FA still only ask him to clarify what he said.

They only asked him to clarify what he said cos they couldn't understand it the first time.

Yes, Yes it was, It was such an Obvious penalty, the linesman has a clear view, as does the Ref, I'd be pissed if i was Fergie

An absolute farce, Fergie gets away with murder, the FA don't dare touch him. Any other manager that criticises the referee is charged by the FA straight way, yet Fergie can berate lines-man, referees, make comments after the game and the FA still only ask him to clarify what he said. Double standards and it pisses me off. :censored::censored:

End of rant.

Because no one can understand a word the sweaty says, he always sounds like he`s pissed
