when the training complex is built will the women's team switch to using one of their pitches for home matches, like the u-21s & reserves will?

Has anyone confirmed that any teams will be using the training pitches for any competitive fixtures ??? Not sure we're building any facilities for spectators ???

oh - thought i'd read it somewhere that the u-21s & reserves were going to use it, silly assumption

Regarding the Women's team, I've just been listening back to previous Roar shows to try and find out. I couldn't find it, but I do recall Martin Perry saying that the contract with the City Council to maintain the pitch runs out at the end of the season. Whether they've renewed since, I don't know.

I think they're there for the foreseeable, though.

Third Lanark's abandoned ground actually looks quite beautiful.

Its amazing how quickly nature takes it back and the work required to keep it their.

its so close to Hamden Park as well, where my wifes Grandfather was the chief engineer when it was converted to the biggest stadium I believe in the UK, and her fathers uncle played in goal for Third Lanark. When we lost the Goldstone I lost lost it a bit in the Football museum at Hampden where their is a recording of a Lanark fan who didn't go to the last game - worked a shift instead and they were wound up (1967). He was urging people to support their local team and always go along.

It was a 50,000 stadium as well.

Stoke, was it the Victoria Ground?

Yes, they will never sell that bit of land, the owners should just convert it back to a football pitch and use it for Sunday/local leagues like Third Lanark

I can't find an old ariel shot but its in the top left butted up to the houses

Third Lanark are playing there again since coming back to life . Now in the Greater Glasgow Premier league....

Wonder if there is a database somewhere that goes that low in FM2014...

Martin Perry said they expect to use Culver Road when they need spectator facilities.

Its a shame, it would be quality to have a stand thier at the reserves, although Culver Road offers a more real football experience for a game. Family must be able to go and watch though, as under the FA rules I notices they you have to supply a waiting room for up to 50 people (if they want top category facilities).

The Firs . Former home to Hastings & St leonards , Hastings Town , Stamco , Stamcroft and finally St leonards FC .

This is from the local Rangers web page, looks like they were trying to get it back into order so it can be used for youth football. I don't think I ever went there, is it near the Rugby club, because I've been there.

Spytty Park, Newport.

The irony is that Newport County have signed up for a ground share with Newport Gwent Dragons and Newport RFC at Rodney Parade - mainly because Spytty Park was prone to get waterlogged. However, that's also a problem at Rodney Parade - so much so that County have only been able to play TWO home league games since October.

Here's a pic of Spytty Park. For some reason, it looks vaguely familiar.

Just 1/2 to 1 mile from William Parker school . Home of Hastings and Bexhill RFC .

That picture makes me so sad . The Firs was the best ground for watching football I ever been too after Leon Sheperdson and Stamco Timber made the improvements necessary for Southern Premier football .

And that includes the Amex .

Now it is in the hands of the local council it has become a wasteland .

Darlington Mowden Park R.F.C. use the Darlington Arena now

When Mobley was in charge of Boro he did ask if his reserves could play there. I don't know if this ever happened.
NB Boro's training ground is close to the Northern Echo Stadium.
