In a pretty hungover state I made the mistake of going to McDonalds this lunch hour. I had a Big mac meal with strawberry milkshake and got it large.

I enjoyed about half of it then wanted to throw up. I still have stomach cramps.I forgot how shit McDonalds is.

It always sounds like a fantastic idea to have a McD's when you're hungover, then it settles in your stomach and the cramps and fat sweats and burger burps start.

If it makes you feel any better, I went to McDonalds with a mate during school about 14 years ago, he ordered 9 chicken nuggets meal, he got a battered chickens head as one of the nuggets.

I havent eaten McDonalds since

I have Classic FM on and am gently coming around. I need the bosom of a soft skinned lady to nestle into!

I had a similar epiphany a couple of years ago. Just done the shopping at Tesco Holmbush, it was about half eight in the evening, I could not be ARSED to faff about going home and sorting out a proper dinner, so I had a McD quarterpounder with cheese. After a couple of bites, I decided I really was not enjoying my fast food experience. Opened up the bap, took a proper look at the sorry, grey patty of "meat" that was sitting there limply amongst the sauce, and binned it there and then.

There's nothing like a good burger now and then. And McDonalds really is nothing like a good burger.

Only one way to get rid of a hangover.

First; Have'a Bacon & Egg Double Decker Sarnie.
Bread.
Ketchup
Egg
Bread
Kethcup
Bacon
Bread

Then.

Have a Nice Shower, then if that hasn't worked go and get some fresh air.

And top all that of with some Orange Juice ( with the bits)

Jobs a Good'un.

Near Dorchester, Dorset
Fish and Chips was always the cure for me. When I worked in the Lanes (over Food for Friends when it was just one shop wide) I used to struggle through to lunch and then go for sit down f&c at a shop just round the back of East Street near English's.

Huge mug of tea, whale and chips. Job done. Better by five and across the road to The Cricketers. Happy days.

two sachets of max strength lemsip in one cup as early into the hangover as you can. Vitamin c and paracetomol, innit. Failing that, nibs, as much grapefruit juice as you can get down you. Does tend to be a 'kill or cure' though which could be awkward at work.
