Whilst the OP did start the thread you are right as it’s a complete pile on which isn’t a good lookThis thread feels a bit YUCKY.
I hadn't heard about the fog post - I have seen it mentioned obliquely though. I wondered what the full story was. I did know about his asking Bozza to have his posts removed and just that he was a bit of a dickhead and not really worthy of the odium heaped on him. The fog story is a different matter though. He posted an old photograph of fog at Falmer around 5pm on a match day, stating there was going to be a pitch inspection for the evening match.
This was totally untrue, but considering many fans travel from Hampshire, Kent, Surrey etc it was concerning. It was checked, and removed by @El Presidente and a temporary ban imposed.
He has threatened several people, as witnessed on this thread, including @Bozza in wanting all his posts removed especially the ones where he boasted about attacking a cyclist by Hove Lawns, due to his aspiring political aims.
Feel free - just be ready for the PMs suggesting he's going to report you to the police. I note he's yet to respond to me posting his PMs to me !I hadn't heard about the fog post - I have seen it mentioned obliquely though. I wondered what the full story was. OK, he does deserve all the abuse on here. Can I join in now?
Not fellow students? Thanks very much GG it was actually my colleagues family and friends not fellow students in the audience (Running Lion 3:05 )
There are literally thousands of NSCers who could post that video and say something like...Whilst the OP did start the thread you are right as it’s a complete pile on which isn’t a good look
Unless your uncle grew up heckling shit comics at the Cockton Hill Working Man's Club. From the experience I have of these graduation shows, it’s all fellow classmates, friends, and family.
I’m sure it’s a brave thing to do but the audience is on your side.
EXACTLY what I was thinking.....Was thinking similar but you could also say, takes a complete lack of self awareness and over inflated ego.
What was it the c*** did again to NSC? Threaten legal action or something?
Fair pointThere are literally thousands of NSCers who could post that video and say something like...
"I've recently taken a comedy course and did my first small set as part of the graduation. Jimmy Carr isn't under any threat from me just yet, but as someone who hates public speaking, this was a real big deal for me. Anyway, this is my set - I hope you find at least one of the jokes funny!"
...and it would be warmly received from a supportive crowd.
I have no idea what the OP thought was going to happen, but I can't believe he didn't expect a bit of a kicking from the numerous people he's pissed off over the years.
Now that is funnyI had a friend who did the comedy course. He was supposed to join all the other students for an end of course stand up “graduation” show.
A few of us mates were going to watch it.
However he sent our friend group a message reading
“I’m pulling out of the gig. I’m not funny and to be honest, these people are the unfunniest bunch of *expletive* I’ve ever met. It will be awful so I’m binning it off”
Well, he meant to send it to our friend group.
Can anyone guess what group he sent it to by mistake?
Yep, Tim has the skin of a Rhino. I try hard now not to post silly or controversial things on social media as it is not worth the flamingI know what you mean but to be honest, if you post yourself doing mediocre standup while pretending it’s not you posting it (if you get what I mean) and then continue to pretend it’s not you, while having called yourself an idiot in the thread title, combined with his history of rather nasty antagonism and threatening behaviour towards Bozza.. I think he knows full well the reaction he’ll get and he is blatantly courting the attention.
If it’s “yucky”, it’s coming from both sides.
Multiple user names. Bit of an arse. Caused mayhem to travelling supporters by reporting a game was to be called off due to fog. Then tried to go into politics (you can guess which party - clue, not UKIP, Reform, Labour, Liberal or Green). There was also a kerfuffle with Bozza.I’ve been on here 6 years and have no idea who he is? Is this “Timmy”, the Fog whisperer that’s referenced time to time?
What’s the back story?
Thanks, even more bizarre that he’s replied to me in the third tense, despite it quite obviously being his own latest accountMultiple user names. Bit of an arse. Someone bounce a thread recently with some of his old posts - a load of sexists braggart bolleaux. Trying too hard to be 'matey'.
Given his inability to stay away from NSC, and the general tomfoolery surrounding his engagement with it, my guess is that Jeremy Vine may have insight into a diagnosis were he to be consulted. Or Tweeted.
I salute any person who, particularly as the years advance, can learn quickly as facts are made available, and change their mindI hadn't heard about the fog post - I have seen it mentioned obliquely though. It's not a bad effort for a first go TBF and, if he'd presented it as @Bozza suggested I think the response would have been a lot more supportive. To be fair the crowd did laugh
Clearly one man's 'Lenny Henry' is another man's 'Roy Chubby Brown'
Yes, that's a very good suggestion. I'm sure he is capable of being nice and kind but, f*** me, he certainly knows how to taint the well of human kindness. Thanks, even more bizarre that he’s replied to me in the third tense, despite it quite obviously being his own latest account
Main character syndrome maybe?
