Don't remember there being ANY ticket problems for Palace away last season

As for being a season ticket holder at Falmer ...

I expect the Bracknells will treat Falmer like we did the Goldstone.

NEVER be a season ticket holder if there's capacity in the ground and tickets are easy to buy on the day. That way, you have the flexibility to watch the game together, regardless of how many there are in the party.

Sorry to be pendantic, but what restrictions were there at the Goldstone where you couldn't watch games as a family or together ?

You can't treat Falmer like you treated the Goldstone, times obviously have changed.

Restrictions at the Goldstone? None whatsoever. Pay on the day was perfect.

Restrictions at Falmer? None that will prevent us paying on the day. Park the car at Lewes station. Meet the gang in the Lansdown. Buy as many tickets as are needed at the station. Go to game.

Easy.

PS It's pedantic, not pendantic.

Hope the ticket clerk at Lewes gets extra money for more work.

Maybe he might prioritise between Railway STH and those individuals buying another product non-railway ?

You clearly are a day dreamer.

No wonder Lewes DC are winning the propaganda war.

I don't know what the deal is. All I know is that this is what the agreed travel plan commits the Club and the Train Operator to delivering.

If the ticket clerk at Lewes is the same one who was on duty the evening of the Millwall paint pot game, all I can say is that she is BRILLIANT at selling the right train ticket to Albion supporters.

Excuse my spelling and thank you for the correction, but hardly relevent in the context of the post.

Very easy(*) to fall in the trap on here of undermining a post on here by correcting their spelling.

(*) or should I say easy, easy, easy or whatever it is they sing it away games.

I'm beginning to think it is all a pipe dream.
The club need a minimum average crowd of over double what we are getting to make "Falmer" work.
Good lord, Ernest is right.
And Lord B talks bullsh*t.

Is it just the Harvey's?

To be fair, he was not only correcting your spelling, he was giving you a practical demonstration of the meaning of the word :lolol:

Falmer will work with crowds that are consistent with what Plymouth Argyle can attract. All the signs are that this is achievable in a decent stadium in a city like Brighton.

Is that "bullshit"?

Ernest's "solution" is to sack the only people with any idea how to get us out of Withdean. Presumably that means staying at a place where we are guaranteed survival only if we can find someone prepared to bankroll the Club's running costs and mounting losses on a permanent basis, with not a square foot of real estate to call our own.

THAT is bullshit.

Trains for big matches are easy.

Advice for next week for people who are new to this:- There is the longest post-match train queue you have ever seen - at Upton Park Underground station. Join it. Be patient. You get home.

Or find end of queue, and carry on walking for about 5-10 minutes, find empty tube station, get on empty tube and enjoy ride to Victoria. The reason for the queues at Upton Park is that they can't get enough people on the trains to fill them before the next one shows up, and to be fair the queue does subside relatively quickly

"maybe it's because I'm a londoner...."

exactly, last time we walked a couple of miles to another stop, no prob. The walk'll do you good after the 8 pre-match pints.
