I understand what Brighton are trying to do, and these are exceptional circumstances for this first league game. Despite the 20,000 home fans already coming, more would like to. But you have to draw the line somewhere.

BTW I was at Doncaster in 1997-98? when we helped you with your demo on the dugout roof. Quality. Not the football, that was shite from both of us. Even though we won 3-0...

You were, then thanks alot Tooting, they were dark dark days and next Satdi will mean that both sets of our great supporters can once again see the light at the end of the tunnel. I know it's been a long tunnel but both clubs can now bask in the sunlight, enjoy a competitive match in a fantastic new stadium and look to the future.
However we must all remember the hard work of the few at each club that fought so long and hard for all of us to now enjoy playing competitive footy at a very high level in beautiful stadia compared to those of the past.
My only hope is that both teams can put on a performance to grace this great occasion and the start of a bright future . The atmosphere will be electric, btw don't forget to bring your 'blow up' beachballs , dolphins etc. On the 6th August the carnival will be in town and we're very much part of it thanks to our owners.
I would like to think that this match will be etched in the memories of all the supporters for all the right reasons.

I CAN'T WAIT. :bounce::bounce::bounce:

After today's game I can't wait for my next Amex 'fix' and who better to share it with than Donny, a set of fans who have been through much the same us us and yet here we are, 2nd tier of football and both with new grounds.

Thanks Freddie, I just wished that there were more of us allowed to be there with you. There are many ''gutted'' supporters at this end, how or why it happened I don't know but we would have filled what is supposedly called your ''away'' end given the tickets to sell.
Literally 100's of our supporters here are left without tickets and that isn't going to go down well, if the fault lies at this end then I apologise but I hear today that a further 200 tickets have been allocated satisfying only a few. Seems someone is intent on partitioning the away end, despite our full house at our opening (bar free seats in the away end), we had no intention of taking any of the away end from the Huddersfield Town supporters.
Both clubs should have sorted this out imediately when the rest of the allocation went on the 1st. day of general sale at this end. :smokin:

I've said it before and I'll say it again. All the away tickets should have been sent to Donny in the first place. It's the AWAY end after all.

I think they had to wait until after the Spurs game (a ramp up event) to get
the safety certificate enabling a full capacity game.

I didn't see any problems, so I really hope Donny get their full allocation.

This, if you have the cash to buy them, they are yours...

I take it that was meant in jest fella, there are 800-1000 supporters at this end wondering whether they still hold onto their hotel and coach bookings for the 10 hour return trip to your place.
The old Brighton supporters wouldn't have thought this way , I take it you're just a JCL ?

He`s a fcuking cock , fill up the south stand and make some noise

As you probably know, we sold out our 1300 allocation earlier in the week, and our club said a decision would be made today if we would receive an extra allocation.

Apparently now, we will not know until the middle of next week. I have been told we have 800 names on a waiting list for more tickets. Just wondered if you guys could shed any light on the situation?

According to ask the club you have the tickets.

"There'll be thousands of Reds
We'll all be pi**ed off our heads
Because the Rovers are going to Falmer!"

That do for starters?

We have a Board worth well in rexcess of £1/2 billion.......we're not strapped for cash Springal. We were given to understand that sa decision whether to release our full allocation couldn't be made until Monday. Btw what has all this got to do with Safety certificates is the 'away' end likely to fall down ??
You had better be in full voice the Vikings are coming to outsing, outplay you and bring home the 3 points. :D:D:D
