I really cannot wait for this game. It's going to be incredible, Pretty much my entire supporting life has been at Withdean so it is a very strange experience thinking we will be going to a stadium with a roof!

Treated my Dad to a ticket as well so we are both like excitable kids again. The missus is not enjoying the excitement as much but I am sure she will come round... maybe

Oh don't worry...plenty of other games to see this season.

The rest of us will think of you as the excitement builds on the journey to our gleaming new stadium, the tumultuous roar of the capacity crowd as the players come out and then watch the ball glide across the lush green turf on its way into the crisp white net for our first goal. Glorious scenes.

Hope this helps.

Yep cheers, thanks very much. Much appreciated.

The only plus, and it's a very small plus, is that my Dad managed to get rid of the ticket to an Albion fan at his work who offered £100 cash. That should be enough for me to drown my sorrows comfortably at the wedding reception.

Exactly this. Words cannot describe how gutted i am.

I've got this for this Saturday, which I can just about handle. Next Saturday and I would cry.

Apologies.....with hindsight a shockingly cruel post I originally posted. I'm off to the naughty step with deep remorse, to think about what I've done....!

about 16 still available in the family stand if you've got a small child!

My wife and child will be there in the corner of Block A, whilst me and my dad will be in another parish down in Block H.

Family stand rules is 2 adults for 1 child, and they're being strict on that.

ticket office bloke doesn't think donny will send any of their tickets back

Its going to be such an honour to be part of this history... the pressure on our lads will be massive. e beat Sheff U at Brammall Lane last night... but friendlies mean nothing, and we will have some new faces in our rearguard. The first real test will come at The Amex... and I'm nervous even now!
Still... I think we may well sell out our allocation and make it a total full house... our away support is always good.
Interesting to hear your Chairman's remark that pictures of the oppositions "legends" will be displayed before games. "Donny? Legends?" you might all say! My half-dozen would be: Peter Docherty, Harry Gregg, Alick Jeffrey, Ian Snodin, Peter Kitchen and James Coppinger. OK, not many made it to the very highest level, but to me its all about memories, loyalty and personality.

we are a family of 2 adults 2 children, and wanted tickets for 2 more adults( OAP dad and nephew)in the family stand, all with same surname,
and was refused as we had "exceeded our quota of adults in the family stand" so i had to get them seats elsewhere,
Can someone please clarify the club policy ?

The club have just posted on the official site that Donny is VIRTUALLY sold out.

Meanwhile, Albion's opening game with Doncaster Rovers on Saturday 6th August has virtually sold out. Tickets are currently unavailable, but a small number may be released next week.

Additionally tickets may also become available if Doncaster sell less than half their allocation - full details will be announced next Tuesday afternoon, with any available tickets available from that evening.

I think the club hold back about 50 tickets just in case they need to relocate anyone (easy access needed if you've broken a leg or 2 STH's wanting to sit next to each other) or last minute invites for guests. This seemed to happen for the last 3 home games at Withers , so watch out for announcements at any time not necessarily next Tuesday afternoon.
