I don't think he's been that bad, I made a point of watching him for periods of the game vs Watford and he is very clever with his positioning, he rarely misplaces a pass and I was really impressed with how he's developed in tackling and winning the ball back. Given that he's only 19, I'm really looking forward to his continued development this season; he's certainly come a long way from the start of the season.
I do agree with you though that if he is going to be the creative player in our midfield then he needs to learn how to take a game by the scruff of its neck more. Although he seems to have done that today!
