Personally I don't agree with playing either Wrexham or Doncaster! Anyway a prestige friendly is going to be arranged so those two clubs are out of the picture!

The club sold out long ago, you'll get a friendly against an upper prem side like Chelsea where 50% of the home end will be full of Chelsea plastics with their Drogba shirts.

Well we had Man City agree to one a while back but everyone has forgotten about that, but I distinctly remember an anecdote from a while back where someone asked Perry about the possibility or perhaps the romance of getting Donny in a pre-season and Perry not knowing what he was talking about and saying the club will be aiming for the very best or words to that effect, I have a feeling he said the club would want to do 'better' than Donny. Just makes me think it'll be a day of plastic premier league fans

The only thing we've genuinely got in common with Doncaster and Wrexham is that we were all gash at roughly the same point, and have had wankers in control of the club. Certain people would spray themselves if we played them pre season, but I'm sure most would think a friendly against Wrexham on the grounds of sentimentality is a f***ing rotten idea. The new stadium should be the start of a glorious new era, not yet another opportunity to bring up the past.
