Well we decided to go and eat after game so I showed the waiter my tickets from the game so we could have 10% discount.

We then got a strange look so I showed him the advert in the program today then he agreed.

So has anyone else claimed the 10% discount and what did you do to prove this ?

BTW the meal was very nice.

I showed my gold STH card (the 10% applies to STH only as far as I know) when we went 3 weeks ago.
You get a free glass of wine if you show the current programme.

Good idea about the gold card, I showed him todays program and was not offered a free glass of wine

Mind you the 10% discount only cancels the service charge

When I dine there, I just ask for the Mcghee table, instant deduction on the bill because they know only true BHA fans know the history of THAT table!

I know it's at the other end of the market, but I had an amazing meal in Hotel du Vin last night.

I'd definately recommend that.

You haven't been listening then. I told you about my do there where 14 people were all very happy with their meal just 3 weeks ago.

I had an ok meal there, but kind of expect it from big places like that.

Most disappointing meal I had in Brighton was at La Tasca ?

I'm a bit spoilt for Spanish food in Sarf London and the above was rubbish.

I played safe Thursday night & went to Browns. Haven't been there for ages but it was always ok. I have to say that it's the worst service I've ever had anywhere in Brighton. Tip for the management, don't employ moody irons with an attitude.
Food was pretty average & how the f*** can you "run out of mash"? Run out of spuds maybe, but f***ing mash?
Never again.

Most places use frozen so it is possible.

I once wanted a breakfast in Tesco's and they had run out of Omlettes. When I queried this and said that they had abouit 200doz eggs on the shelves I was told they are not allowed to make the omlettes, they must be bought in, frozen ones.

Donatellos is STUPENDOUSLY average. Been three times and its always been "alright", nothing special whatsoever. La Gallaria in Shoreham utterly pisses all over it from a huge height.
