Only been to the restaurant once... for a rather riotous Seagulls Over London Xmas do. Richey Barker was also dining there and came over to say hello. But, even though I only went the once, whilst living in Brighton and Hove her name, and her restaurant’s name, always popped up in respect of charitable and social stuff. She was the term “pillar of the community” personified.

This is very sad.

Very, very sad, she was a lovely lady from a lovely family. RIP

Having already seen one poster speculating could I respectively suggest that all posts on this thread are kept to the usual respectful words and nothing else?

Dreadful. Still not really taken it in. RIP.

Also, can I please emphasise the above post on behalf of the moderators and say thanks, Ian, for posting that.

Very sad and shocking news indeed.

Many an Amex Christmas do in the 80's/90's were spent in Donatello's, usually ending up in riotous drunkenness which nobody seemed to mind.

RIP

Mrs AR and moi have eaten In there many times over the years.
Sometimes a ritual before a home game.
Always a friendly and welcoming place to eat.

Sad news RIP

Terrible news, so sad.

When were on holiday in the Dom Republic a few years ago junior was called 'Donatello' by all his new holiday pals from the daily football sessions because that's what his shirt said................

Utterly shocked by this. Sue and her family are a real asset to the city and loyal supporters of the Albion.

The Brighton & Hove Albion family have lost one of their own . I know plenty of players as well as supporters enjoyed the hospitality of Donatello`s . Sincere condolences to the Addis family .
